Carolyn Jean Dison, 76, passed away at West Alabama Hospice on July 30, 2021. Funeral services will be Sunday, August 1, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. at Pickensville Baptist Church in Pickensville, AL with Bro. Tim Jones officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Meadow Branch Cemetery in Kennedy, AL. under the direction of Dowdle Funeral Home.

Jean was born on May 25, 1945 in Fayette, AL. to Olen Richard (Jack) Stoker, Sr. and Ruby Boyd Stoker. She and her husband Bill were owner/operators of Bill Dison Service Station and Garage for many years. Jean loved family and friends and loved spending time with them. She loved to fish and play solitare. In her younger days, she loved to drive in Powder Puff Racing.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Bill, a son, Timmy Dison, a brother Olen Stoker, sisters Fay Moore, Judy Trimm and Evelyn Price. She is survived by three sons, Wayne Dison (Bobbie), Michael Dison and Randy Dison, a brother, Bo Stoker, 5 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Brad Dison, Hunter Dison, Daniel Dison, Austin Dison, Jacob Wilkerson, Michael Wilkerson. Honorary pallbearers will be Bro. Raymond, Branyon Boyd, Michael Boyd, Steve Boyd, Ronnie Dickerson, Jerry Roland and her Pickensville Baptist Sunday School Class.
