Jeane E. Moore, 81, of Millport, AL., passed away on June 17, 2022 in Demopolis, AL. Funeral services will be Tuesday, June 21, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. with Bro. Raymond Spann officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral in the chapel. Burial will follow at Meadow Branch Cemetery in Kennedy, Alabama.

Jeane was a longtime resident of Lamar County and was employed by Lamco Wood Products for a number of years. She loved her family and loved to get together with them to play games. She was a prayer warrior and was always praying for others. She will be greatly missed.

She is survived by five sons, Kenny Phelps (Tracie), Steve Phelps (Ventrice), Walter Phelps, Tim Phelps (Tina) and Randy Phelps (Carol), sisters Becky Tingle and Carol Richardson and brothers Travis Englebert and Johnny Jackson, 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, L.V. Moore, sisters Johnnie Creel, Maxine Englebert and Hazel Williams, brothers Clifford and Truman Englebert.

Pallbearers will be Kenny Phelps, Steve Phelps, Walter Phelps, Tim Phelps and Randy Phelps.
