Jeffery Grey Merchant, 53 of Reform, Alabama died on Wednesday, July 22, 2015, in Vance, Alabama.
Born Monday, September 11, 1961 in Vernon, Alabama to the late Bill Whitley and Nell Merchant Duncan.
He was preceded in death by Sister, Sara Jo Merchant, father-in-law, Tommy Cunningham, step-father, William Duncan, mother-in-law, Evelyn Cunningham, and grandparents, Roy and Delmar Merchant.
Surviving are sons, Justin Merchant ( Montanna) of Elrod, AL and Tyler Merchant ( Megan) of Holt, AL, sister, Barbara Ford ( Roy) granddaughter Allyah Grace Merchant.
Mr. Merchant attended Sulligent High School and worked for Harpole Steel for 22 years.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Shaw and Rev. James Godsey officiating. Interment will be in Bethlehem Baptist Church cemetery, Reform, AL.
Pallbearers are: Terry Rhudy, Kenny Gilmore, Tommy Merchant, Keith Swedenburg, Ashlee Swedenburg, and Allen Swedenburg.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 9:00 PM on Monday, July 27, 2015, at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel.
