Obituary
Jerry Baswell, 72, of Columbus ,MS passed away on January 26, 2020 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. He is the son of the late Floyd and Louise Baswell of the Fernbank, AL community.
Mr. Baswell was employed at Ceco Metal Buildings in Columbus, MS as a computer programmer for over 20 years and was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He was also an avid Alabama football fan.
He is survived by his wife, Faye Arentson Baswell, a step-son, Ken Smith (Bethea), one brother, James Baswell and two sisters, Mary Ann Blanton and JoAnn White. Two grandchildren, Kirby and Carter.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. There will be no visitation prior to the service. The family will receive visitors after the service in the chapel. Internment will be at Ebenezer Cemetery in Millport, AL.
