Jerry Brewer, 78, passed away on January 17, 2025, at Fayette Medical Center in Fayette, AL. Funeral services will be Saturday, January 25, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home with Bro. Travis Brown officiating and Bro. Dale McGhee assisting. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Millport, AL.

Jerry was born on May 14, 1946 to the late Hobson and Julia Brewer. He attended Millport High School and loved to play football all throughout school. Jerry was a heavy equipment operator for Arvin's and Weyerhaeuser before retiring. He always had a smile on his face and shared his laughter. He had a big personality and never met a stranger. He was also a big Alabama fan through and through.

Jerry is preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Marie Brewer Lawson and Lucy Brewer; brothers, Robert Brewer, James Brewer, Terry Brewer, Wayne Brewer, Fred Brewer, Bobby Brewer, and Carey Brewer; nieces, Valerie Lawson and Janae Pittman; nephew, Anthony Lawson and Bryce Boozer and great niece, Shannon Lawson.

He is survived by daughter, Tabitha Brewer Langley (Jonathan); sisters, Kathy Brewer Perrigan (Mike); brothers, Phillip Brewer (Darla), Jim Horn; and several nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are John McNeil, John Houde, Gray Betts, Jackson Betts, Jimmy Brewer, George Green and Micaiah Capley.
