Mrs. Jewell Nabors Hunnicutt, 85 of Kennedy, Alabama died on Monday, March 25, 2019, at Fayette Long Term Care in Fayette, Alabama.

Born Friday, September 29, 1933 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Mr. Clyde Nabors and Mrs.June Edward Swink Nabors.

Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, J.C. Nabors and William Nabors.

Surviving are husband, Sarepta Hunnicutt, son, Frankel Hunnicutt (Donna), daughters, Gwenda Aldridge (Jerry) and Kitty Fooshee (Ronald) brothers, her twin James (Pug) Nabors and Gene Nabors, sisters, Sadie Rigsby and Gladys McCool; 5 grand children, Brandon Hunnicutt (Karen),Chris Hunnicutt (Britney), Carrie Powell (Michael), David Fooshee (Nicole), Sarah Gregory (Adam), 9 great grand children.
She was a member of Riverside Baptist Church.

A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, March 27, 2019 at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will follow after the service.

Officiating will be Chris Hunnicutt, Carlos Dean and Craig Holliman.

Interment will be in Kennedy City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Brandon Hunnicutt, David Fooshee, Adam Gregory, Michael Powell, Ronald Fooshee and Jerry Aldridge.
