Jimmy Ray Brock, 57 of Fayette, AL passed away July 9, 2023 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 15, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. Visitation one hour prior to the service at Dowdle Funeral Home. Internment will follow the service at New Hope Cemetery near the Kingville Community under the direction of Dowdle Funeral Home, Millport, AL.

Jimmy was a huge Alabama fan and loved everything football. He was employed by Chromolox, American Nonwoven, Mercedes and provided  maintenance at Millport Manor Apartments in Millport, AL.

He graduated from Kennedy High School in 1985. He loved to travel and spend time with family and friends. He joined New Hope Baptist Church at an early age and later joined Providence Missionary Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and sung in the male chorus. He was loved by so many of his friends and family.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Ollie Rose Brock Walker, brother Jacey Brock and sister Gwen Della Walker. He is survived by his wife, Aretha Guyton Brock, father Norah Walker, children, Javonte Watson, Jessica Macon and Jason Brock, sisters, Bren Della Walker, Erike (Samuel) Cole, and Connie (Willie) Billups, brothers Jonathan Walker, Joseph Brock, Scotty (Tracy) Walker, Cornelius (Angela) Walker and one granddaughter, Ma'Kenzi Hilario, nieces, A'Dahlia Hollis, Kylela Walker, Kymaya Walker, Taina Guyton, Gianna Walker, Marley Walker and Caleigh Walker nephews, Takeo Brock, Davontae Sparks, Deseandrick Guyton and Ja'Korey Walker, sister-in-laws, Bobbie Lynn (Bobby) Burks and Serina Guyton, brother-in-law, Darrell (Tierra) Guyton, father and mother-in-law, Bobby Lee Guyton and Dorothy Guyton, uncle, Troy Brock, aunt, Mae Hellen Hill.

Pallbearers are Donnie Poole, Bob Stevenson, Kareem Wilson, Bobby Brock, Derek Wilson, Bobby Burks, Deseanoric Guyton and Danny Brock.
