Jimmy Davis Parker, 74, of Belk, Alabama passed away on March 15, 2020 at his residence.  He was the husband of Shirley (Durham) Parker. His parents were the late George Parker and Zola Mae Parker Dobbins.

He was a life-long resident of Lamar and Fayette County. He was a retired truck driver, having driven almost 50 years. He will be dearly missed by his wife and his children.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley, 2 daughters, Wanda Davenport and Rhonda Hancock, 2 sons, Jimmy Ray Parker and Scott Wiarek, 2 sisters, Alice Lawrence and Jane Dobbins and one brother, John Dobbins, 9 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

He is preceeded in death by one daughter, Tina Wallace.

Funeral services will be Thursday, March 19, 2020 at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. with Bro. Terry Robinson and Bro. Gene Nabors officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Interment will be at Higdon Church of God Cemetery in Kennedy, AL.
