Jimmy Crowe Sr., 73, of Millport Al, passed away on August 4, 2021 at his residence. Visitation will be Saturday evening, August 7, 2021 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. Funeral services will be Sunday, August 8, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. with Bro. Billy Carl Sullivan officiating assisted by Bro. George Shaw. The body will lie in state from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. in the chapel. A military burial will follow at Kennedy City Cemetery.

Jimmy was born on December 5, 1947 to Jack and Catherine (Johnson) Crowe in Fayette, Alabama. He always had a smile and something to say. He was a man who loved life and lived it to the fullest. He was a great husband to his wife, father to his two sons and the best PawPaw a child could ever ask for. Jimmy loved people and made a friend everywhere he went. He was the first to lend a helping hand and did numerous carpentry jobs and wouldn't take a penny. He and his wife were meant for each other and enjoyed 21 years of love and adventure together. When he wasn't working, you could find him on the river fishing or in the woods rabbit hunting with his boys. Jimmy was a proud veteran who loved his country but above all things, he loved the Lord with all his heart.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his three brothers, Joe, Jerry and Larry. He is survived by his wife Theresa, sons Chuck Crowe (Jill), Hebo Crowe (Tracy) and sister Jane Wright (Kenny), four grandchildren and one great grandchild.

Pallbearers will be Dustin Crowe, Ross Evans, Mike Sullivan, James Goss, Chris Shelton, Zack Sullivan. Honorary Pallbearers will be employees of Lewis and Faye Mandrin Cancer Center, The Veterans Administration, Tuscaloosa, Amedisys Hospice and Sullivan Supply.
