Obituary
Joan Fleming, 69, of Millport died Sunday, May 14, 2017 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa, AL.
Born March 26, 1948 in Birmingham, Al to the Late Grady Hopson & Mattie Louise Cockrell Jenkins.She enjoyed working with flowers sewing and reading her bible everyday. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Grady Jenkins & Billy Jenkins and her parents.
Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at 12:00 noon with visitation one hour prior at 11:00 AM, at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Long and Janet Brown officiating. Burial will be in Franconia Cemetery in Aliceville, AL.
Survivors include Daughters, Sonia Turnipseed of Millport, Rita (Scott) Tilley, Ethelsville, Al, Son.
keith (Teresa) Turnipseed sister, Frances (Curt) Davis, Milton, Fl. 5 Grandchildren, 5 Great Grandchildren
Pallbearers will be Scott Tilley, Sean Turnipseed, Kovin Shaw, Jessie Pennington, Scott Roberts, Sean Clemmons.
Honorary Pallbearers are Dr. John Miller & Dr. Shelby Sanford, Nurse's and CNA's of Hospice of West Alabama.
