JoAnn Barrett, 71 of Killen, Alabama, formally of Kennedy, AL. died on Wednesday, December 19, 2018, at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi.

She was the daughter of  Mr. Floyd Lee (Bill) Cook.

Preceded in death by her father Floyd Lee (Bill) Cook, her husband,James Olen Barrett, Son, James Allen Barrett, grandson, Michael James Barrett, and grandson, Tony Nathaniel Skipper.

Surviving are son, Jonathan Barrett,(Brandy) of Killen, AL.,daughter, Lori Tinker (Mike) of Tuscumbia, AL, brother, Ricky Cook (Marilyn) of Millport, AL. 4 grand children; 6 great grand children, and host of nieces and nephews.

A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 22, 2018 at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 22, 2018, at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel.

Burial will be in the Kennedy City Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be, Shauncey Carter, Heath Barrett, Brian Barrett, Scott Bull, Ben Barrett, Andy Mann, Doug Haines.
