John B. Dobbins Jr, 65, of Millport, Al, passed away June 2, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Al. Funeral services will be 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, June 5, 2021 at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. with Bro. Terry Robinson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Burial will follow at Higdon Cemetery in Kennedy, AL.

John was born on November 22, 1955 to John Dobbins, Sr. and Zola Campbell Dobbins. He was a native of the Millport area. He was employed at Lamar County Hospital and Turner's Supermarket in Vernon, Alabama before his retirement. He enjoyed mowing and working in his yard.

He is survived by sisters Jane Stokes, Patsy Harris and Alice Lawrence. He is preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Pearly Turner and a brother, Jimmy Parker.
