John Daniel Winters, 71 of Millport, Alabama died on Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, Mississippi.
Born Friday, November 24, 1944, in Lamar County, Al to the late William Avil & Mary Eunice Bryant Winters. A member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church he had worked a number of years at Airline Mfg. Co. in Columbus, Ms
Surviving are his wife, Dianne Winters. son, John Matthew Winters, daughter, Leslie Hollis, sister, Elizabeth Owens; 4 grand children.
A Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Mt. Olive, Millport, AL. with John Hunter & Doug Wilson officiating.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 30, 2016, at Dowdle Funeral Home.
