Johnny Snider, 73, of Kennedy, AL, passed away on October 27, 2024, in Kennedy, AL. Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 30, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL, with Bro. Terry Robinson officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the chapel from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Higdon Church of God Cemetery in Kennedy, AL.

Johnny was born on May17, 1951, to Claude and Mildred Snider. He was born and raised in Lamar County. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish with deer hunting being his favorite. He also loved Alabama football.

Johnny is preceded in death by his mother, Mildred Snider, his father, Claude Snider and brothers, Robert Snider, Junior Snider, Thomas Snider, and Ronnie Snider.

He is survived by his wife, Selina Snider, sons, Larry Snider and Tim Snider, and brothers, Alvin Snider, Rondal Snider, and Terry Snider.

Pallbearers will be John Stokes, Kyle Snider, Billy Snider, Mason Snider, and Danny Ray Parker.
