J.T. Taylor, 92, of Columbus, MS, passed away on December 15, 2022, at his residence. Funeral services will be Monday, December 19, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home with Bro. Ronnie Burgess officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Christian Chapel Cemetery in Millport, AL.

J.T. was born in Vernon, AL, to Dan Taylor and Evie Curry on December 14, 1929, and lived in Columbus, MS. He was an autobody worker for 30 years and worked as a truck driver for Eskridge Trucking Company in Vernon, AL. He loved to work on antique cars, and he also loved the ocean.

J.T. is survived by his girlfriend, Patricia Lynn Duncan; sons, Jack Taylor and John Taylor; and 3 grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Dan Taylor and Evie Curry, and granddaughters Maria and Karen.

Pallbearers will be Anthony Coleman, James Dowdy, Danny Rast, Roger Duncan, and Carl Duncan.
