Kenneth Ray Pennington, 72, passed away on August 21, 2023 at Care Center of Vernon.

Kenneth was born on February 18, 1951 to J.B and Dora Elzia (Warlick) Pennington in Columbus, MS. Kenneth loved everything about big trucks and was a career truck driver. He loved NASCAR and dirt track racing and horse shows and never missed an opportunity to take his grandkids to a race or anywhere else they wanted to go! Kenneth loved the Lord and family was important to him and he had a special love for his grandparents, Henry Lester and Melinda Ethel (Carruth) Warlick. and John Allen and Betsie (Guyton) Pennington. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends.

He is preceded in death by his parents, a son, Brian Pennington and two sisters, Donna Nelson and Rebecca Pennington. He is survived by two daughters, Nikkie McNeese and Dana Stephens, two sons, Ray Pennington and Jay Pennington, a sister, Patricia Adams, eleven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

The family will schedule a private service at a later date.
