Larry Funderburk, 75, of Millport, Alabama passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2025 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, Mississippi. There will be a memorial service on Monday, September 22, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service from 10:00 - 11: 00 a.m. in the chapel. Dowdle Funeral Home is honored to be entrusted with the arrangements.

Larry was born on February 11, 1950 to Hardy and Mary Funderburk. Larry graduated from Millport High School and was the owner and operator of Larry's Plumbing. After retirement, he loved to fish, golf, and ride his bicycle for miles. He was an avid softball player and he managed his own softball team. He was a big fan of Alabama football. He professed Jesus Christ as his personal Lord and Savior.

Larry is survived by his wife, Deborah Funderburk; daughter, Kristie Funderburk; son, Tyler Smith; sisters, Carolyn Lowery (E.J.), Rita Balchus (Bob); brother, Darrell Funderburk (Jeanie); and one grandchild.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Jason Funderburk; sisters, June Hooper and Joyce Funderburk; brothers, Billy Funderburk and Eddie Funderburk.
