Obituary
Mrs. Laudice Holsonback Junkins, 90 of Kennedy, Al passed away Monday April 2, 2018 in Tuscaloosa, Al.
Funeral services will be Thursday, April 5, 2018 at 4:00 pm from Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Terry McAdams officating. Burial will follow in Kennedy City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00 - 4:00 pm Thursday at Dowdle Funeral Home.
Mrs. Junkins was born in Kennedy Al on June 13, 1927 to the late Albert Benton and Gussie House Holsonback. A graduate of Kennedy High School she attended and graduated from what is now The University of North Alabama and returned to Kennedy High School where she taught for 30 years before her retirement. She was preceded in deaths by her husband Boots Junkins.
She is survived by her daughter, DJ White, brother Jimmy Holsonback and nephew Jimmy Joe Holsonback.
Pallbearers will be Miles Ridgeway, Tyler Ridgeway, Mickey Watkins, Ricky Johnson, Fred Ray Savage.
