Mr. Lee C. Eatmon, 89 of Millport, AL died Thursday December 14, 2017 at his home.

Funeral services will be Friday December 22, 2017 at 1:00 pm from Holly Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Richard L. Hood, Sr. & Rev. Kelvin Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in Holly Grove Cemetery. The body will lie-in-state from 11:00 - 1:00 at the church.

Born August 25, 1928 in Sturgis, Ms to the late Jessie Lee Mitchell and Daisey Eatmon. Mr. Eatmon worked for Airline Manufactoring for 20 years and retired from Weyerhaeuser Company after 20 years he was a member and Deacon at Holly Grove Baptist Church and a member of Lodge 185 and was a Master Mason. He as preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Vernie Mae Eatmon,  son Lee C. Eatmon, Jr. and brother Milton Mitchell. Mr Eatmon felt his calling in life was to help someone along the way.

He is survived by sons, Willie C. Eatmon, Vincent Eatmon, daughters, Virginia A. Hood, Daisey M. Stewart, Josephine Eatmon, sisters Jessie Mae Anderson, Mildred Howard, Jewel Conner.

Pallbearers will be Richard L. Hood, Jr, Tyrone Eatmon, Jermaine Willis, Benjamin Ogden, Timothy Eatmon, Bobby D. Eatmon, Arsenio Eatmon, Shawndale Eatmon, Orlando Eatmon, Willie Savage.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacons of Holly Grove Church
