Mr. Lloyd Greenwood Cobb, 86, of Kennedy, AL died Wednesday December 28, 2016 at UAB Hospital, Birmingham, AL.

Funeral Services will be Monday  2:00 pm at Kennedy Baptist Church, the body will lie-in-state- from 1:00 - 2:00, with burial in the Kennedy City Cemetery. Rev. Keith  Martin will officiate. Visitation will be Sunday Jan. 1, 2017 from 5:00 - 8:00 at Dowdle Funeral Home.

Mr. Cob was born November 15, 1930 in Kennedy, Alabama to the Late John Greenwood & Nancy Evelyn Graves Woods Cobb. He attended Kennedy School an a member of the Graduating Class of 1948. Mr. Cobb served in the US Army and enjoyed working for Office Supply Company in Columbus, Ms for 33 years. After his retirement he worked for Lowndes County Circuit Clerks office for a number of years, Mr. Cobb was a former member and Deacon of Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, Ms an was a member and retired Deacon of Kennedy Baptist Church. Mr. Cobb enjoyed teaching Sunday School which he did for many years. A hobby that he enjoyed was working on bicycle's and repairing them to give to children.
Mr. Cobb was married to the love of his life, Tommye Smith Cobb for 64 years. He was preceded in death by his twin brother Troy Cobb. and a number of brothers and sisters.

Survivors are: Wife; Tommye Smith Cobb, Daughter's; Candy (David) Daniel and Barbie (Keith) Hill, Grandchildren: Dennis Usery, Jr., Daniel Lloyd Usery, Cody Lloyd Daniel, Great Grandchildren, Anthony, Donovan, Darrion & Dixon Usery.
