Mrs. Mable Conner Daffron, 87 of Sulligent, AL died March 19, 2017 at Generations of Vernon.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at 1:00 pm from the Chapel of Dowdle Funeral Home with Rev. John Nicholson and Rev. Byron Pickering officiating.  Visitation will follow.  Burial will be in Millport City Cemetery.

Mrs. Daffron was born October 13, 1929 in Millport, AL to the late Joe & Liffa Gray Cash Conner. She was a graduate of Millport High School. Mable was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She married Bill Daffron on May 1, 1948 and her son Joe was born in 1955. She was  a marvelous homemaker, a great cook and   took pride in taking care of her family.  A lifelong Baptist, Mrs. Daffron was a member of First Baptist Church of Sulligent at the time of her death.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill and a great granddaughter Rebekah Daffron.

Survivors include, Son, Joe (Dianne) Daffron,   2 Grandchildren, Margaret Hobson & David (Meghan) Daffron, 1 Great Grandchild, Dakota Hobson

Pallbearers will be Mike Daffron, Dana Hollis, Tim Hollis, Billy Maddox, David Daffron, Alva Grimsley.
