Mack Wilson, 91, of Kennedy, AL. passed away March 17, 2021 at his residence. Funeral services will be Monday, March 22, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Graveside services will follow at Kennedy City Cemetery in Kennedy, AL.

Mack was born on March 22, 1929 to Harris and Burlie Wilson. He served as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army and went on to serve as a sergeant with the Tuscaloosa Police Department for 27 years. Mack was a kind hearted man and loved his family and friends. He was a Christian man and tried to be fair to everyone. He is truly going to be missed. Heaven has gained another angel.

He is survived by two daughters, Deborah S. Wilson and Cheryl Wilson Boozer, a son, Johnny Mack Wilson, sister Nell Carroll, brothers Lynn, Woodie and Brooks Wilson, 6 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and his wife of 71 years, Nell Spencer Wilson.

Pallbearers will be Josh Wilson, Eric Boozer, Joe Montalbano, Jason Cole, Terry Wilson and Fisher Wilson.
