Obituary
Mrs. Margie N. Gaught, 84, of Gadsden, Al died Wednesday August 2, 2017 in Moody, Al.
Funeral Services are Saturday, 2:00 pm at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. George Shaw officiating. Burial will follow in Walnut Grove. Cemetery Visitation will be from 1:00 - 2:00 pm prior to service.
Mrs. Gaught was born September 27, 1932 in Reform, Al to the Late Thomas Leon and Willie Mae Kelly Peeks. A member of Church of God in Kimberly, AL she retired from Walmart where she enjoyed working as a Greeter and she worked many years as a waitress. Mrs. Gaught was preceded in death by her husband, Lawson Gaught, and granddaughter Ashley Lynn Little.
She is survived by daughters, Kathy Lynn Butler, Brenda Johnson, son, Terry Gaught, sisters Jewell Sandlin, Linda Gibson brothers Joe Peeks, James (Bud) Peeks, Danny Peeks, Jerry Peeks, Bill Peeks, Wayne Peeks and 1 grandson, Branden Wade Little.
Pallbearers will be Walter Owens, Bubba Hulon, Dillon McDaniel, Kevin Fundberg, Hunter Holoman, Jared Gill.
Honorary Pallbearer will be Branden Little.
