Marion Lee Shaw, 87 of Millport, Alabama died on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
Born Sunday, October 24, 1926. to the late Marion and Nettie Peeks Vails. in addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband William " Bill " Shaw.
Mrs Shaw was an active member of the Springhill Baptist Church. She had a passion for her work in the sunday school of her church as well as a love for gardening, cooking, and serving in the community.
She was employed by Millport MFG for many years.
Surviving are daughters, Brenda( Mike) Gartman of Millport, AL and Billie( James) Colburn of Chandler, TX.
A Funeral service will be at 2:00 PM on Monday at Springhill Baptist Church located at Springhill Rd Millport, Alabama 35576. Interment will be in Springhill Baptist Cemetery, Millport, AL.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Sunday, July 27, 2014, at the church.
