Obituary
Mr. Marlin Eugene " Gene" Robertson, 84, of Millport, Al, died Sunday October 11, 2015 at NMMC in Tupelo, MS.
Visitation will be Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at Dowdle Funeral Home, with Funeral Services Wednesday, Oct. 15, 2015 at 11:00 am from Fairview Baptist Church, Columbus, Ms. Body will Lie-IN-State from 10:00 -11:00 at Church. Interment will be at Chapel Hill Cemetery.
Preceded in death by Parents Gen. Wheeler and Eva Mae Price Robertson, Son, Glenn Roberson and Daughter, Carmen Bruce, Sister, Mildred Bailey, Brother, Mervin Robertson. Mr Robertson served in the United States Navy in Korea, and was a local business owner.
Honorary Pallbearers: All Echos Band Members past and present.
He is survived by his wife, Illa Grace Robertson, Son Dale Robertson, Daughters, Lynn Aaron, Sue Fowler Brother Raymond Robertson. 8 Grandchilren 9 Great Grandchildren.
