Obituary
Born Friday, November 9, 1923 in Millport, Alabama, to the late Houston and Willie Lou Cook Owens. She is also preceded in death by her husband Walter McKee.
She was a member of Millport Baptist Church and worked for AT&T for 20 years before retiring.
Surviving are sons, Ronald McKee (Daphne) of Kennedy, AL and Jeffery McKee (Anita) of Texarkana, TX, daughter, Ann Estes of Millport, AL, brother, Rev. James Owens (Betty) of Foley, AL, sisters, Ada Pelser of Boston, MA and Bobbie Dupe of Fayetteville, NC; 6 grand children; 1 great grand child.
A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday 11/22/2015 at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Payne Chapel, Millport, AL.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Saturday, November 21, 2015, at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel.
