Mary Jane Perkins, 79, of Reform, AL., passed away on December 13, 2021 at her residence. Funeral services will be Thursday, December 16, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home with Bro. George Shaw officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Burial will follow at Liberty Church Cemetery in Reform, AL. under the direction of Dowdle Funeral Home.

Mary Jane was a lifelong resident of Pickens County. She was a kind person who loved her husband, her children and grandchildren. She raised 9 children in a house full of love. Mary was a good cook, she loved flowers and she never met a stranger. She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her.

She is survived by a daughter, Darlene Lewis, 7 sons, Charles, David, Hubert, Ed, Peter, Jimmy and Daniel Perkins, a brother, Eddie Ray Prescott, 24 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Ella Mae (Barton) Prescott, her husband, Harland Eugene Perkins, a son, Tony Perkins and granddaughters Peyton Rae Perkins and Sabrina Williams.

Pallbearers will be Peter Perkins, Daniel Perkins, Coty Lewis, Tyler Priess, Jason Perkins, Anthony Whaley, Shane Boone and Jimmy Perkins.
