Michael V. Fields , 72 of Hueytown, Alabama died on Sunday, February 26, 2017, at his residence.

Born Monday, October 9, 1944 in Birmingham, Alabama, to the late Ralph Fields and Doris Cast Fields, he is preceded in death by his sister Doris Ann Sims, and his parents Ralph and Doris Fields.

Surviving are his son, Michael Boyd of Aliceville, AL and his daughter Carla. Brothers, Stephen Fields of Hueytown, AL, Ken Fields of Hueytown,  and Terry Fields of Hueytown, , sister, Linda Punit of Atlanta, GA; and 3 grand children.

A Graveside service will be held Wednesday, March 1st, 2017, at 1:00 PM at Millport City Cemetery. Interment will be in Millport City Cemetery, Millport, AL.
