Obituary
Mr. Millard Howell Weathers, Sr., 80 of Millport, AL died Saturday, December 2, 2017 at his home.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm Tuesday, December 5, 2017 at Dowdle Funeral; Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Long officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Olive Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday from 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm at the funeral home.
Mr. Weathers was born April 20, 1937 in Fayette, Al to the Late Marvin Kyle & Reby Alice Loftis Weathers. Mr. Weathers graduated from Millport High School and served 20 years in the United States Air Force retiring with the rank of Master Sargent He enjoyed gardening, growing hot pepper and selling watermelons.He was a member of Millport Church of Christ.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Mary Evenlyn Weathers, daughter, Mary Jane (Kent) Humber, Sons Millard Howell Weathers, Jr. and Mark Zachery (Denise) Weathers, sisters, Shirley Key, Toni Shaw, Wanda Williams, brothers Terry Weathers & Ricky Weathers. 4 Grandchildren.
Friends of the family will serve as pallbearers.
