Minnie Mae Campbell, 101, passed away on March 10, 2021 at her daughter's residence in Millport, AL. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m Saturday, March 13, 2021 at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel with Bro. Terry Robinson and Bro. Joshua Knopp officiating. Burial will follow at Higdon Cemetery in Kennedy, AL. under the direction of Dowdle Funeral Home.

Mrs. Campbell was born on April 7, 1919 to George Alfred and Bertha Cordelia Parker. She married the love of her life, Noah, at the age of 14 and they enjoyed 71 years of marriage. She was a homemaker, wife and mother to 7 children. She was also a foster parent for almost 20 years to more than 30 children.  She was a devout Christian woman and a member of Higdon Church of God. Minnie was well known for hand quilting, which she did until the last days of her life. She was happiest with a needle in her hand. She loved her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren with all of her heart.

She is survived by daughters Geraldine Foster (Bobby), Kennedy, AL., Aline Madden (Johnny), Kennedy, AL., Lois Robinson (Terry), Millport, AL., sons Franklin Campbell (Barbara), Kennedy, AL., Freelon Campbell (Shelby), Millport, AL., and half sister Barbara Parker, 18 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 41 great-great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, daughters Minnie Lee Robertson and Rosa Dean, sisters Ida Campbell, Icie Campbell, Avalee Richards and Loventris Parker, brothers Lester, Lyndsy, Wilburn, Gyvus, Roy and Albert Parker. Son-in-laws J.R. Robertson, Junior Dean and Randal Jones.

Pallbearers will be Ernest Campbell, Dewayne Leonard, Lloyd Jones, Micah Hall, Richard Robertson, David Foster, Joshua Knopp and Trey Shultz.
