Myrtle Smith Shelton Bittle, 81 of Millport, Alabama died on Tuesday, April 16, 2019, at her Residence in Millport, Alabama.

Born Saturday, May 1, 1937 in Hazard, Kentucky to the late Mr. Alex Smith and Mrs. Nora Lee Spurlock Smith.
Preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Chester and Johnny Smith, two sisters, Christine Deaton and Buliah Ritchie. late husbands, Freeman J. Shelton Sr. and Bill Bittle.

Surviving are son, James Bittle,(Rita) daughters, Marilyn Stripling(Jimmy) and Freda Case(Richard); 17 grand children; 15 great grand children.

A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, April 19, 2019 at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Friday, April 19, 2019, at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel.

Interment will be in Unity Grove Cemetery.

Officiating will be Jeff Long

Pallbearers will be Zach Ridgeway, Dustin Ridgeway,Toby Bittle, Rob Young, Frank Shelton, Farron Shelton
