Blanche Nadine Duncan Bush, 88, passed away on July 19, 2022 in Millport, Alabama. Visitation will be Thursday evening, July 21, 2022 from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, Alabama. Funeral services will be Friday, July 22, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at Dowdle with Bro. Mark Dean, Bro. Tim Marlowe and Bro. Trey Reece officiating. Burial will follow at Andrews Chapel Cemetery.

Nadine was born on July 4, 1934 in Pickens County, Alabama to the late Harvey Duncan and Dovie Hydrick Duncan. She was a member of Ethelsville Church of God for 66 years. She was a Sunday School teacher for 42 years and she loved every single child she taught. Nadine loved baking cakes for the sick and others in the community. She also had a card ministry that she enjoyed; most people reading this probably got a card from her. She also loved piecing quilts and working in her flower beds. She had a love for red birds and bought anything with a red bird on it!! She will be forever missed.

She is proceeded in death by her husband, John C. Bush, four brothers, Winston, Blanford, Clabourn and Dorman Duncan, one son-in-law James Bush.

She is survived by four daughters, Cathy Bush, Carol Morgan, Cindy Adams (Morris), Connie Matthews (Pete), one sister, Dean Patrick (Bruce), two sister-in-laws, Juanita Duncan and Gwen Duncan, 12 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, 7 great-great grandchildren, 4 nieces, 5 nephews and a host of family and friends.

Pallbearers are Stacy Bush, Israel Sudduth, Jason Sullivan, Bryan Adams, Nick Crowe, Eric Adams, Ricky Ponds and Tommy Murphy.

Honorary pallbearers are Bruce Patrick, Casey Bush, Ricky Bush, Kevin Patrick, Scott Duncan, Terry Mills, Darvin Hemphill, Pete Matthews, Morris Adams, Brock Reynolds, Nicky Leonard and Billy Ponds.
