Nina Faye Shaw, 86, of Millport, AL, passed away on June 13, 2024, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 15, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL, with Bro. Ken Bozeman officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Millport City Cemetery.

Nina Faye was born on April 5, 1938 to the late Edward G. and Iren Huff Hydrick. She was a graduate of Liberty High School. Nina Faye was a loving wife, mother, and Nana. She was known for her spunky personality and sense of humor. Nina Faye loved cooking for her family and doing crossword puzzles. She spent countless hours supporting her grandchildren and great grandchildren in their various activities.

She is survived by her husband of almost 69 years, David Shaw; Son, Mike Shaw (Lenita); 2 grandchildren, Jeremy Shaw (Courtney) and Lauren Shaw Brock (Jason); 4 great-grandchildren, Tatum & Jackson Shaw, and Cullen & Bryce Brock.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Edwina Burks and brother, Pete Hydrick

Pallbearers will be Ken Wilson, Jeremy Shaw, Jackson Shaw, Steve Hydrick, Jason Brock, and Cullen Brock.
