Nora Beard Sullivan, 87, of Northport, AL. passed away on November 12, 2025 in Northport, AL. Funeral services will be Monday, November 17 , 2025 at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, Alabama. Visitation will be 1:00 - 2:00 in the chapel. Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Millport, AL.

Nora was a beloved great-grandmother, grandmother, mother, daughter and friend to all who knew her. She loved her family with all her heart and would do all she could for them. She worked many years for Black Warrior Methane doing office work for them until she retired. She loved quilting and making quilts to give to the ones she loved. Granny Boo was her nickname for the family. She enjoyed all life's adventures with her family and friends and loved to laugh and spread joy to others. Her laughter and wisdom were gifts to everyone who knew her.

She is survived by her daughters, Patsy Whitten, Sharon Barr, and Lisa Turner. Her son, Steve Beard, her brothers, Tony Bresnahan and Ed Bresnahan also by a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Ella Mae Bresnahan, her son, Michael Beard, and her sisters, Mary Clemmons, and Dora Faye McDaniel.

Pallbearers will be Frank Turner, Jack Turner, Connor Patton, David Barker, Rhett Barr, and Tyler Barr
