Patricia Ann Cargile, 69, of Millport, AL. passed away on November 13, 2022 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. Funeral services are Friday, November 18, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, Alabama with Bro. Terrance Cleghorn officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Burial will follow at Christian Chapel Cemetery, Vernon, Alabama.

Pat was an amazing mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She was always there for whoever needed her. She loved picking blueberries and doting on her great-grandchildren was her favorite pastime. Pat enjoyed flea markets and "picking and grinning" singings. She later moved to South Alabama where she had a daughter in Magnolia Springs. Then, moving to Millport, Alabama, she met her husband of 35 years, Billy Wayne Cargile. In her later years she was blessed with a granddaughter and 2 great-grandchildren and one on the way. She was loved and will be extremely missed.

She is survived by a daughter, Elizabeth Ann Cargile, sister Janet Jansen, brother Jacob Jansen, 1 grandchild and 2 great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, John Joseph and Ophelia Jansen, her husband, Billy Wayne Cargile and brothers Joe and Jimmy Jansen.

Pallbearers are Dallas Cockerham, Dillon Cockerham, Russ Cole, Leslie Smith, Michael McGuff and Cecil Harrison.
