Ramona Cash Gentry, age 89, of Millport, Alabama, passed away on May 31, 2024 following a lengthy illness. As per Ramona's request, no memorial service will be held.

Ramona graduated from Millport High School in 1953. She worked for United Technologies Automotive ( formerly American Bosch ) in Columbus, Mississippi for many years.

Ramona was born on May 29, 1935, to Will Brown Cash and Jessie Lee Wheeler Cash of Millport, Alabama. She is survived by her sister, Sarah Cash Sparks; her brother-in-law, Jerry Sparks; her niece Susan and her husband, Blake Madison.

Ramona was preceded in death by her husband, Rayburn Gentry; her parents, Will Brown Cash and Jessie Lee Wheeler Cash; and her sister, Sue Cash Walters.

The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to the employees of Morningview Estates and Alabama Hospice Care of Jasper, her devoted caregivers, Janice Smith and Linda Cannon, along with many friends and neighbors who have provided assistance and expressed concern for her.
