Ruby Lawrence, 80, of Millport Alabama, died on Wednesday, August 31, 2016, at Generations of Vernon.

Funeral Services will be Friday September 2, 2016 2:00 pm from Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel, with visitation from 1:00 until 2:00 pm. Burial will be in Higdon Church Cemetery.

Born May 14, 1936 in Lamar County, Al to the Late Bailey F. & Mattie Lou Wheeler Woods. She Attended Higdon Church of God and Millport Nazarene Church and had worked many years with her husband Harvey Lawrence, in the family store. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Worth Higdon, & Harvey Lawrence Brothers, Ray Woods, Chars Woods and sister Virigina Calvert.
