Ruby Livingston, 88, of Reform, AL, passed away on Sunday, October 4, 2026, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, AL. 

Ruby was born on November 24, 1937, to Hobson and Lillian Stocks in Demopolis, Alabama. She moved to Fayette, Alabama at the age of two. In 1962, she married Landon Livingston and she lived in Lamar and Pickens County for the rest of her life. She worked at the garment plant in Millport for 37 years and she helped see after others for several years.

She is survived by her son, Jerry Livingston (Sharon); three grandchildren, Chris Livingston, Keith Livingston, and Nikki Wise (Michael); sisters, Juanti Morgan and Ruth Jones; four great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild; and daughter-in-law, Patricia.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Landon Livingston; her parents, Hobson and Lillian Stocks; son, Darrell Livingston; and her infant sister; and two grandchildren. 

There will be a visitation on Tuesday, October 6, 2026 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. There will be a funeral service on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home with Bro. Mark Dean officiating. The body will lie-in-state one hour prior to the service on Wednesday from 1:00-2:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Higdon Church of God Cemetery in Kennedy, AL.
