Mrs. Willie Ruth (Wood) Hollis, 92, of Millport, AL died August 28, 2016 at her residence.
Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 11:00am at Dowdle Funeral Home with Funeral Services at 11:00 am from Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Blythe Creek Baptist CHurch Cemetery, Reform, Ms.
Mrs. Hollis was born July 15, 1924 in Webster COunty, MS to the Late George Wesley and Callie Yates Wood. She was preceded in death by sisters, Doris M. Phelps, Sue Griffen, granddaughter Michelle Wright, great grandson Michael James Barrett, great grreat granddaughter Rainie Black, daughter in laws, Reba Vaughan, Darlene Warn nephew George Earl Griffen.
She is survived by her Husband, Bill Hollis, MIllport, AL, 4 Sons, Stonie Vaughn, Ethelsville, AL Joe (Donna) Vaughan, Gattman, MS, Eddie Warn, Vernon, Al Teddy (Melanie) Warn, Daughter Mickie (Charles) Harrison, Ethelsville, AL, 10 Grandchildren, 21 Great Grandchildren & 17 Great Great Grandchilren.
Pallbearers, Ricky Wright, Deven Cooke, Ben Brown Johnny Vaughan, Cliff Shurman John Gartman.
Honorary Pallbearers will be Doug Rector, Roger Johnson, J.T. Beard, Jerome Rector, Haskel Robins.
