Sandra June Estes, 76, of Millport, AL., passed away on September 4, 2023 at her residence. There will be a visitation for family and friends on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery in Millport, AL. with Bro. Ricky McGhee officiating.

Sandra was born on March 20, 1947 in Lamar County, Alabama. She was a respiratory therapist and loved her family very much. She loved her animals, horses, chickens and her dogs. Her favorite past-times were hunting and cooking for others. Sandra was outspoken but she was an unselfish person and was always doing things for others.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Terry Estes and a sister, Mary Ellen Jackson. She is survived by a sister, Sharon Owen and three brothers, Stanley Criswell, Mike Criswell and Frank Criswell.

Pallbearers will be Eddie Phipps, John Beard, Jonathan Camp, Noah Dismukes, Joel Alexander and Jace Koon. Honorary pallbearers are Jeff Criswell, Jason Criswell, Ray Estes, Kirk Estes, William Lemonds, Addison Criswell, Daria Kelly and special nephew, Bubba Phipps.
