Mrs. Sarah Alice Stokes, 87 of Reform, Alabama died on Thursday, January 31, 2019, at Arbor Wood Nursing Home in Reform, Alabama.

Born Thursday, October 8, 1931 in Reform, Alabama to the late mr. Thomas Roscoe Lowe and Mrs. Maudie Mae Jones Lowe.She was the wife of Lavert Stokes for 69 years and 10 months. Mrs. Sarah was a retired seamstress.

She was a member of Arbor Springs Baptist Church.

Preceded in death by her parents, Mr. Thomas Lowe and Mrs. Maudie Mae Lowe, on daughter, Judy Lang, sister, Faye Mason, brothers, Gene Lowe and Charles Lowe.

Surviving are husband, Lavert Stokes, sons, Rick Stokes (Jessica) and John Stokes (Cheryl), daughters, Donna Holsonback (Jimmy Joe), Brenda Walters and Martha Stokes, brothers, Jimmy Lowe and Ted Lowe, sister, Joanne Nelson; 14 grand children; 19 great grand children.

A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 3, 2019 at Arbor Springs Baptist Church.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, February 3, 2019, at Arbor Springs Baptist Church,

Burial will be in Arbor Springs Cemetery.

Officiating will be Larry Shelton and Jeff Long.

Pallbearers will be Gene Lang, Dexter Black, Jay Holsonback, Will Pitts, Chris Crowe, Greg Turner, Dale Shelton, Mark Prater.
Honorary Pallbearers will be deacons of Arbor Springs Church.
