Shirley Ann Gatlin, 83 of Millport, Alabama died on Thursday, February 4, 2016, at Her Residence in Millport, Alabama.
Born Thursday, August 18, 1932 in Millport, Alabama to the late Jim and Sally Hydrick Pollard. Mrs Gatlin was also preceded in death by, sisters Patsy Pollard, and Mary Gonzales and brother, Jim Jack Pollard.
Surviving are husband John Gatlin of Millport, sons, Mike Gatlin of Memphis, TN and Mark Gatlin of Dallas, TX; one sister Maxine McDonald; 1 grand child; 2 great grand children.
Mrs. Gatlin worked for the City of Memphis Schools until retiring and moving back to Millport. Mrs. Gatlin was a member of Millport Baptist Church.
A Funeral service will held be at 2:00 PM on Saturday 02/06/2016 at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will be in Millport City Cemetery, Millport, AL.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to service at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel.
