Shirley Moore,  85, of Millport, AL. passed away on December 14, 2022 at her residence surrounded by her family. Funeral services are Friday, December 16, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. with Bro. Jordan Lollar officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Burial will follow at Springhill Baptist Church Cemetery under the direction of Dowdle Funeral Home.

Shirley was born March 12, 1937 in Lamar County, Alabama to John William and Wilda (Parlee) Browning. Shirley was a loving mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She spent many years working at United Technologies, where she retired. She enjoyed working in her yard and spending time with her loved ones.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Billy F. Moore, sisters Billie Vails and Opal Renfroe, brothers Charles, Rodger, Owen, Bobby and Harold Browning. She is survived by a son, David E. Shaw (Darlene), a sister, Barbara Sansing, 2 grandchildren, Kyle Shaw (Amy) and Kodie Shaw (Jeremy Taylor), great-grandchildren Walker McAdams, Kolt McAdams, Drake McAdams, Browning McAdams, Karden Shaw and Wheeler Shaw.

Pallbearers are Kyle Shaw, Jeremy Taylor, Walker McAdams, Kolt McAdams, Drake McAdams and Karden Shaw.
