Sidney J Stripling's Obituary
Sidney J. Stripling, 83 died January 19, 2016 at his residence in Kennedy, AL.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 21, 2016 from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm with Funeral Services to follow at 2:00 pm at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Kennedy City Cemetery.
Lamar County in 1947 and he made his home here. He worked for the Lamar County Road department for 17 years and retired. He enjoyed gardening and loved music, playing Guitar. He left his love of music to all his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Erma Jean Stripling and son Gary Stripling.
He is survived by son: Kenny Stripling, Sr. Daughters: Judy Moore, Lisa Burkhalter, sisters: Doris Cummings, Ellen Kizzire and brothers: Carl Stripling & Glendon Stripling. 8 Grandchildren, 13 Great Grandchildren.
Pallbears will be: Kenny A. Stripling, Kevin Moore, Cody Burkhalter, Greg Stripling, Sidney Moore, Daniel Burkhalter.
