Terry Lee Cox, 51 of Millport, Alabama died on Friday, December 4, 2015, at Druid City Hospital in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Born Tuesday, December 31, 1963 in Millport, Alabama to Martha Jean Cox Johnson and the late Exie Lee Giles. He was a member of Holly Grove Baptist Church. Terry was a member of the 1983 graduating class of Millport High School. He served for 20 years in the Army Reserves and worked for the Lamar County Engineers until his retirement. He was a loving father and grand father and we be greatly missed!

Surviving are son, Justin Mitchell, daughters, Terrika Edwards and Courtney Cox, brothers, Ray Cox, Oscar Wilson, Ricky Cox, Daniel Johnson, Jessie Giles, Malcom Giles, Jerome Giles, O C Giles, Henry Giles, Ricky Giles, Joe Neal and Michael Jackson, sisters, Martha Mitchell, Mary McCrary, Valona Hutton, Marlinda Johnson, Annie Giles, Sonya Giles, Marilyn Giles, Mary Lee and Yvette Jackson; 3 grand children.

A Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday at Holly Grove Baptist Church. Interment will be in Holly Grove Cemetery, Millport, AL.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Friday, December 11, 2015, at Dowdle Funeral Home Chapel in Millport.
