Mr. Theron Lee Aldridge, 91 of Millport, Alabama went home to be with the lord on Thursday, November 2, 2017, at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Born Saturday, December 19, 1925 in Kennedy, Alabama to the late Mr. Grady Lee Aldridge and Mrs. Ethel Coleman Aldridge.
Mr. Aldridge was a long life resident of Millport, AL. He was retired from Airline Mfg. in Columbus, MS where he worked for over 40 years.

He was a member of Milllport Baptist Church where he served as deacon for many years. He was an avid gardener and he loved sharing his bounty from his garden each summer. He also loved to fish and watch Alabama football. Mr. Aldridge was preceded in death by his wife of 68 years, Grace Aldridge, brother Joe Aldridge, sisters, Frances O'Mary, Hazel Watkins, Agatha Reynolds.

Left to cherish his memory is his son, Rodney Aldridge (Donna), Ethelsville,AL. 2 Grandchildren; Kym Ledbetter,Columbus, Ms, Karyn Jankowski (James) ,Lexington, Kentucky,  and 4 Great Grandchildren; Max and Emma Ledbetter, Abram and Julia Clare Jankowski.


A Funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 5, 2017 at Dowdle Funeral Home. Interment will be in Mt Olive Cemetery

The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM on Sunday, November 5, 2017, at Dowdle Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Donald McAdams, Howard Byars, Redus Stokes,Matthew Byars, Mike Butts, Mike Kemp.

Honorary Pallbearers are, Al Broadbent, Phillip Griffin, Troy Griffin,Doug Walters.
