Timothy Griffin, 63, of Millport, AL. passed away on September 3, 2023 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa. A memorial service will be held Friday, September 8, 2023 at 11:00 a.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, Alabama with Bro. Terrance Cleghorn officiating. Visitation with the family will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the chapel.

Tim was born February 23, 1960 to Leonard Thomas and Ruth Griffin in Adamsville, Alabama. He was a diesel mechanic and was employed by Eskridge Trucking for 28 years. He and his wife of 43 years, Cassie, were members of Mt. Pleasant Church of Christ. Tim loved his family and he loved sharing stories about his grandkids Simon, Brianna, Jayce and Lily. He enjoyed bluegrass music and tinkering with old cars.

He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Jacob Griffin. He is survived by his wife, Cassie Griffin, daughters Beth Smith (Spencer) and Angela Griffin, a sister Jane West (Mike), a brother, Jimmy Griffin and 4 grandchildren, Simon Smith, Brianna Lyons, Jayce Griffin and Lily Griffin.
