Thomas Douglas Taylor, 57, of Kennedy, Alabama passed away 9/16/2021 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS. Funeral services will be Saturday, September 18, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Dowdle Funeral Home in Millport, AL. with Bro. Terry Robinson and Bro. Ed Nabors officiating. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service in the chapel. Burial will follow at Mt. Zion Cemetery in Hitogy, AL.

Tommy was born July 3, 1964 in Vernon, AL. to the late Bill and Nell Taylor and was employed at Marathon Equipment Company in Vernon, AL. for 24 years. He loved to hunt. Tommy  loved the Lord with all his heart and loved his church family at Pleasant Grove Baptist Church. He was a sweet, loving man who loved spending time with his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Joyce, his two daughters, Pamela Mills (Jared), Trinity Bambach (Matt), 14 grandchildren who will miss him dearly, Jada, Keely, Silas, Roman, Anderson, Delilah, Israel, Lucy, Nola, Abel, Canyon and Jerusalem Mills, Tytus and Myles Bambach, sisters Judy Flynn (Carlos), Janet Curry (Steve) and Becky Perkins.

Pallbearers will be Steve Curry, Jesse Stockman, Jason Foster, Nathaniel Foster, Phillip Foster and Josh Newman.
