Troy Lee Griffin, 82, passed away on April 10, 2025 at his residence. Graveside services were held April 10, 2025 at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Millport, AL. with Bro. Jeff Long officiating under the direction of Dowdle Funeral Home.

Troy was born August 7, 1942 in Belk, Alabama. He served 4 years in the United States Navy after high school. After returning home, he worked at General Tire in Columbus, MS and retired after 35 years. He enjoyed working in his garden and shared his vegetables with family, friends and neighbors.

Troy was preceded in death by his father, Archie Griffin, his mother, Lucille Duck Arrington, his wife, Julia Nell Owens Griffin, 2 brothers, Charlie Brooks and Jerry Max Griffin and a son, Wade Griffin.

He is survived by a son, Phillip Griffin, daughter Jamie Griffith (Bobby), 5 great- grandchildren, Spencer Wade Griffin, Lora Lee Griffin, Anna Kate Wright, Conner Zane Wright and Sam Alan Boggin and a sister, Linda Broadbent.
