Truman J. McGee, 76, of Millport Al. passed away on Monday, June 12, 2017, at his residence.

Born August 27, 1940, in Oakman Al. to the late Ernest McGee and Hattie Smallwood McGee, he was the husband of Nancy Kemp McGee. Mr. McGee was a member of Fernbank Baptist Church, worked at Phillips Ready Mix for a number of years, and worked at Omnova for thirty plus years before he retired.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Earnest Lewis McGee and Hattie Smallwood McGee, brothers; Lawrence McGee and Charles McGee, sister, Louise Miller, stepsister, Wynell Newell, and stepbrother, Tommy McCool.

Mr. McGee is survived by his spouse, Nancy Kemp McGee, his son, James Mitchel (Mitch) McGee, and his grandson Derek Landon McGee.

The Funeral Service will Be held on June 15th, 2017, at 11:00 AM at Dowdle Funeral Home. The visitation will be Wednesday June 14, 2017, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Dowdle Funeral Home. Burial Will be in Ebenezer Cemetery in Fernbank Al.

Officiating the service will be Drew Moore and Nick Cannady. Pall Bearers will be Chris Atkins, Glenn Baswell, Larry Fowler, Roger Johnson, Roger McGee, James Baswell.
